Reviewer 2

Reviewer 2 is an automated text assessment system.

For the theory behind it, see the paper “Yell At It: Prompt Engineering for Automated Peer Review” by Joseph Francis. An older version is available on an Apache 2.0 license, and tests show that it compares favourably to other systems, such as refine.ink. The version hosted here has been improved in various ways. It produces more accurate and balanced reports, with less strawmanning and pedantry.

You can set up an account to use Reviewer 2 or pay for individual jobs. It is also available as an API. See our frequently asked questions for further details.
